Submission by the Philippines: Commission on Human Rights, Statement of the Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines for the Biennial High-Level Panel: Death Penalty

The CHRP strongly opposes the re-imposition of the death penalty. The CHRP asserts that reinstating capital punishment will certainly produce myriad of implications, both legal and moral, and will have a long-term effect both in the domestic and international spheres.
