Pahayag ni CHR Spokesperson, Atty. Jacqueline de Guia, kaugnay ng pangalawang anibersaryo ng pagpaslang kay Kian Loyd delos Santos

Dalawang taon na ang nakalipas mula nang mapaslang ang 17 taong gulang na si Kian Loyd delos Santos sa kamay ng mga pulis na dapat sana ay protektor ng mga tao. Si Kian ay nagmakaawang mapakawalan dahil iniisip niya ang kanyang exam kinabukasan: “Tama na po, may exam pa po ako bukas”. Bagamat nahatulan ng murder ang 3 pulis kaugnay ng pagkamatay ng teenager, napakarami pa ang hindi nabibigyan ng hustisya at patuloy pa rin ang patayan kaugnay sa kampanya laban sa iligal na droga.

Inuulit namin ang aming panawagan na imbestigahan ng pamahalaan ang lahat ng kaso at makipagtulungan sa Commission on Human Rights at maging sa mga pandaigdigang mekanismo mapanagot ang mga nagkasala at matigil ang impunity sa bansa. Bilang paggunita kay Kian at iba pang mga biktima, nananawagan tayo sa publiko na huwag manahimik sa gitna ng karahasan at lumaban sa anumang uri ng pang-aabuso. Palakasin pa natin ang ating panawagan para sa hustisya para sa lahat ng biktima ng extrajudicial killings partikular ang mga inosenteng musmos at mga kabataan na nakitil ang buhay at naputol ang mga pangarap. ###
