Mensahe ni CHR Chairperson Richard P. Palpal-latoc sa okasyon ng Kuwaresma

Nakikiisa ang Komisyon sa mga Karapatang Pantao o CHR sa lahat ng mga Katolikong mananampalataya sa pagdaraos ng Kuwaresma.

Sa paghahanda para sa pagdating ng mga Mahal na Araw, tayo ay inaanyayahang sariwain ang sakripisyo at paghihirap ni Hesus. Ang hamon sa bawat isa ay gawing mas makabuluhan ang panahong ito sa pamamagitan ng pagpapakita ng pagmamahal at kabutihan sa ating mga kapwa.

Sa pamamagitan ng ating mga gawa at panalangin, nawa tayo ay maging karugtong ng pagmamahal ni Kristo at isaisip ang karapatan at kalagayan ng mga mahihina, binabalewala, at isinasantabing tao ng ating lipunan.

Samahan niyo kami sa CHR sa pagtindig para sa karapatan at dignidad ng lahat.###
