As outlined in an earlier human rights advisory, the CHR stresses the importance of a genuine, inclusive, and participatory approach in the plan’s development and that this process is as important as the output. Meaningful engagement with diverse stakeholders is key to enhancing the data and perspectives that shape public policy and also encourages wider acceptance and strengthens the plan’s responsiveness and impact.
