Statement of the Commission on Human Rights in observance of International Youth Day 2026
The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) joins young people and communities around the world in observing International Youth Day on 12 August 2026 under the theme, “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations.” The theme reflects a reality familiar to young Filipinos: despite differences in circumstances, they share common aspirations for quality education, decent work and livelihood, meaningful participation, safe and inclusive communities, and the freedom to build a better future.
