The Universal Periodic Review (UPR) is an opportunity for countries to promote and protect human rights through dialogue, information exchanges, observations, and recommendations for future action. The Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines commends the Philippine Government for actively participating in, reporting, and responding to the recommendations of States during the latest and third cycle of the UPR process wherein its human rights record was discussed.
